Browser Settings

The video chat is configured for the web browser Google Chrome. Download Chrom here.

Chrome – Settings for Video Chat

  1. Open the browser using the access link you have received for the Video Chat.
  2. Your browser will request access to your camera Camera and microphone Microphone.
  3. Allow access to your camera and microphone
  4. If you have connected an external camera and microphone to your computer, make sure you choose the active camera and microphone.
  5. Choose the active camera and microphone: Click on the camera icon Camera (top right) and choose the active camera and microphone from the dropdown menu.
  6. Refresh your browser window to apply the activation settings.
What do to when the access Request does not appear?

Check your default settings if the browser request for camera and microphone access does not appear. For instructions on camera and microphone settings, see Google Chrome Help.

System Settings for Mobile Phones

Make sure that your camera and microphone are not blocked in your system settings


Android

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions.
  2. Enable Camera and Microphone
  3. If disabled, switch each one to Allow.


iPhone (iOS)

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
  2. Tap Camera → Enable for Chrome.
  3. Tap Microphone → Enable for Chrome
